About Scientific Calendar
The Calculation Method Of A Scientific Calendar

1) 15 billion years ago which is considered as the beginning of universe
2) 4 billion years ago which is considered as the beginning of living things
3) 5 million years ago which is considered as the beginning of human being

 Next, to deal with such big numbers, present one year is too short. So the author thought if there is scientific and practical cycle which has much longer period, and then was struck by the whole solar system's revolution cycle to the center of the Galaxy. The Sun is revolving around the Galaxy once in 250 million years taking all the belongings like planets and their satellites etc. This cycle, however, being different from the one year cycle, only influences the changes of the universal observation, and it has nothing to do with changes in our daily life.

 So, the present day is, if we use 1), 60 Galaxy years 2) 16 G.Y. 3) 0 G.Y. We can use any of these, but basically let's adopt 1) after all.
 Let's compile a new scientific calendar using 250 million years as 1 Galaxy Year. And, this is the calendar which allows people in the world think equally, openly and refreshingly, what year this is now, without relying on any religious or mythological ground.
 15 billions divided by 250 million is 60. So, let's call this year 60 GY, simply. To prevent unnecessary confusion, considering easiness of switching it from the present strongest Christian calendar, why don't we make it the beginning year of 60 G.Y. Just as scientific calendar, let's begin with 0 year. Traditional calendars of any religions, countries or cultures begin from 1, and it makes things unmathematical and unscientific. The author thinks that there will not be any problem in it, since it basically starts at the birth of universe. But, still, if there is not 0 year in counting the years before the beginning year of universe, it will not be managed mathematically. Talking about the beginning of the universe, it's only impossible to observe the universe of more than 15 billion light years away. Who knows if the birth year will go back older ? There is a possibility that we have to count the G.Y. backwards. For that reason, we had better start it from 0.
 From now on, things become very easy. Let's use 10 million as the next unit. That means 25 10million years is one Galaxy year. Then, 7 figures are left. Why don't we divide them into 3 figures and 4 figures to use it easily.
 What about their names? Naturally, Fixed Star comes after G.Y. and the nearest year is Terra Year like now. Maybe, we need one between them. How would you like newly born baby "Nova Year"? Thinking of English abbreviation, the author's suggestion is as follows.

 1 G = 25 S
 1 S = 1000 N
 1N = 10000 T

 This year is 60G,0S,0N,0T (=2000 C.Y.) and Science Year (S.Y.) begins in the mid-summer of Galaxy calendar (T=Y). "Last Year" needs more space. It's 59G24S999N9999T (=1999 C.Y.) ( Christian Year + 8000 = last figures of scientific calendar)
 Actually, this is too long and inconvenient. So, for a practical use, let's abbreviate the first 7 figures, and call "last year" 9999 and "this year" 10000.
 To avoid the same trouble as the Year 2000, 10000 years was added to 60GY's 0 year. In this abbreviated year calendar, 10000 Years ago is the 0 A year. For example, Methopotamia Civilization is in about 3000 A Year. (A=abbreviation) For another example, the beginning of Shin empire in China in BC256 is 7745 A.
 Generally, A = 8001 - BC, A = AD + 8000 A = T (after this year) + 10000
 Further on, beginning of Christian Year is 8000A, Sekigahara War is 9600A, Japanese defeat in World War 2 is 9945A, Hanshin Earth-quake is 9995A, and 50 years from now is, of course, 10050A. Since the history of letters do not go back more than 10000 years, we don't have to use complicated thing like B.C. Year, and we can cope with it completely by this A year. We can deal with the happenings after 10000 years ago by this A.Y. but not those of before that. For example, the birth of human being is in about 59G24S500N0T.

 Thus, we could not only experienced the millennium but also get rid of cursted restriction of Christian year and Christianity, and have a deep and fresh breath.
 The author hopes that you will agree with this point and make good use of it.
 Here comes the list of good points of this natural Science calendar (Galaxy calendar), again.
  1. The origin of the calendar is based on the currently newest scientific ground.
  2. As it is not conformed to any specific religion, mythology, legend or authority, people in the world can refreshingly welcome a new year without any trouble in mind.
  3. Since it is not a relative measure but an absolute measure, it can be used for some ten thousands years or even forever.
  4. For the happenings after human being history began, a scientific calendar can correspond to them, and we do not have to use B.C.
  5. It is easy to exchange it from the currently most powerful Christian calendar ( You only have to add 8000)
  6. As the beginning year is 0, it can easily correspond mathematically. Even if the origin of the universe goes older than we think now, it becomes minus 1 G.Y.
  7. It is very easy if '00 year shown in computer now in use is considered as the abbreviation for 10000A.
  8. The science will take over the power to decide the matters about calendars from the tyrannical man of power of the time. And then people will recognize the greatness of scientific suggestion.
